Double Publicity Portraits Of Wild Animals That Mirror Their Habitat

Throughout my engineering exams final yr I turned fed up with math and logic. Because of this I felt a fantastic want for a inventive outlet, so I made a decision to start out making artwork prints. With some Photoshop expertise from earlier graphic design initiatives and lots of hours of labor, it shortly grew to become a actuality.

By utilizing a method extensively often called double publicity, my deep appreciation for nature and animals comes by means of by way of the visible medium. I'm proud to share with you some photos from my newest collections. To see extra comply with my hyperlinks. Extra data: Instagram | Webshop | Facebook | Society6

If My Cat Could Speak

Cats know so many things. They definitely know the meaning of life. They are wiser than you, they are more intelligent than you, and they are generally better than you in everything. You must accept it – you’ll never be as good as your cat. But can you imagine what would happen if your cat could speak? That’s right – it would judge you. Every step of the way.

My cat always watches me with a look which says, “You’re stupid.” So this is an illustrated story about the things my cat (I presume) would say if he could speak. And it makes me think I am lucky that he can’t…

Seriously?

Feed me, slave!

Go away…

I have no time for you

Not listening…

You’re stupid

Taiwan Invents Square Watermelon Bread That Is Delicious And Confusing

In one of the weirdest and most confusing food mash-ups we’ve ever seen, a Taiwanese bakery has invented a loaf of bread that looks just like the equally bizarre square watermelons popular in Japan.

According to Jimmy’s Bakery, which invented this twisted masterpiece, it was designed to get kids excited about eating bread during the hot summer months when their appetites decrease. The bread uses natural dyes – green tea for the rind, strawberries for the flesh, and charcoal for the seeds. Some alternative recipes online also suggest trying raisins as seeds.

It seems like it would be fun and delicious to eat, though it might be disappointing to bite into on a hot summer day. It’s very popular locally, though!

Alice In Poppie Wonderland

I started to mix my drawings with pictures of real objects some time ago with the project called “Sketching Words”. The object brought life to my character, and my drawing was changing the meaning of the object itself. I soon found that I could tell tales and stories to the people who watched my sketches with very few elements.

This is my version of Alice’s adventures in Wonderland. I sketched some characters of the novel making them interact with poppies. I always imagined Wonderland as a place full of these flowers.

Driftwood Dragons And Beast Sculptures By James Doran-Webb

James Doran-Webb, the incredibly talented driftwood sculptor whom we wrote about previously, has expanded his work from majestic horses to terrifying driftwood dragons that seem prepared to terrorize the village folk in the surrounding countryside.

Doran-Webb has created two epic dragon sculpture. The first, perched on a dead tree, is called ‘The Wyvern in the Baobabs’ (a wyvern is a type of dragon with two legs and two wings). The other, ‘Wyvern’s Folly,’ is perched on a gazebo made from reclaimed steel and recycled water bottles.

Doran-Webb works in the Philippines, creating amazing, powerful sculptures of creatures like these dragons using found driftwood and steel frames to make sure that they can support their own weight.

I Hand-Craft Animal Masks From Hammered Steel

I live in a crowded city and that can sometimes make me feel alienated. Especially when I see how the world is shaped by a passion for consumption. To cope with this fragmentation, I retreat to mountains for summer months. Nature helps me reconnect to the things that matter, and eases the sense of isolation.

For me solitude is a gateway to creativity. My art is a response to social alienation. I see how society is full of turmoil and chaos. Creativity is a process that is alive in all things, and relates with human roots running deep with meaning. This evolution, from poor progress to doing something better needs patience. We need patience and have to know pain. What we have is time and space to use creativity in becoming better. When using the metal pieces I am using time and space, past and future, all that is in life. I have previously created a metal lion,

I Hand-Craft Steampunk Costumes From Old Parts For Movies

I create Steampunk Artwork, clothing, gadgets and props for photoshoots and filming. Its my hobby and I do it in my spare-time. There is no commercial purpose behind, I do it because its my passion. I try to use only authentic materials, such as old leather, steel, brass, copper, wood and glass. Nearly nothing is glued, most parts are reversible connected with screws.

I take my parts from flea markets. I like the smell of old leather and wood and the patina, old things wear. Every part I use for my works has its own history to tell.

The costume is made of metal, brass, copper and leather. There are no plastic parts or glued gears. Weight is about 90lbs!
