Dismal have released a video for the track ‘Microcosm & Macrocosm’ taken from the band’s album ‘Giostra Di Vapore’ which is released via Aural Music/DreamCell11. You can buy a copy of ‘Giostra Di Vapore’ here.

Dismal was founded in Turin in 1996 and have released 5 studio albums, performed at the Wave Gothic Treffen in Germany, and all around Italy. Speaking about the new album, the band stated:

“…a carousel with steam engines, electricity, petroleum, magic lanterns and phantasmagorias”.  This album  is a combination of victorian steampunk atmospheres and orchestrations. Lyrics are always focused on topics like social psychology spiritual alchemy and a recurring struggle between the decline of society and a inner childlike sense of wonder which blends together modern and antique.”
