The enigmatic Dead Can Dance — led by co-founders and mainstays Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard — today announced it will bring its “A Celebration — Life & Works 1980-2020” tour to North and South America next year, a trek that will include 10 dates in the U.S.

The spring 2020 tour follows the release late last year of the duo’s ninth album album Dionysus — the much-anticipated follow-up to Dead Can Dance’s 2012 reunion effort Anastasis, which was the group’s first record in 16 years — and a 16-date European tour this past spring.

The North American dates open April 17 in Philadelphia, and include two concerts in Canada and two in Mexico. The band then heads to South America for concerts in late May in Colombia and Chile.

Tickets for all of the 2020 shows go on sale Friday; see full details on Dead Can Dance’s website.
