Sunny - 1925
This record at least 84 years old
Its been a while since I posted a New Sound Victor Record. The Victor Orthophonic process changed how bands recorded and played in 1925. Most didnt have to make special accommodations for recordings and record produced since have captured a more natural style than in the Acoustic era. And this record is a treat its a Batwing Orthophonic, these were pressed in secret of the new process and released without much fanfare. Victor wanted a smooth transition to the orthophonic change over that would happen in 1926 and 1927 and these records would make the brunt of the New Orthophonic Music catalogue. Every so often I feel a record should get the most minuscule amount of attention. In this way I never stray far from the Sound that was intended to be reproduced. And In this record I only treated it with a generous high and low roll of 08,000 Hz and 35 Hz respectively. I also did one EQ to suppress the mid ranges to lighten the tone. I hope you enjoy.
