Formed in 1988 at Lisbon, the "Irreligious" band Moonspell is composed by those 5 members :

Formerly named "Morbid God", Moonspell has started in 1989.
They started as a Anti-God, really dark band. They never were a joke, and listening to some really dark songs like "Opium", "Finisterra" or "Full Moon Madness" proves it !
they released their fist demo in 1994, "under the Moonspell", which contains 3 songs darker one than another...
One year later follows their first album : "Wolfheart". Listening to "Alma Mater", "Vampiria" or "Of Dream and Drama" proves they're dark. Really.
Next year (1996)follows "Irreligious", where their "Anti-god" side is put on mainstage. "Opium", "Full Moon Madne... less
