Yet another Hallowe'en classic, this one's a novelty song from 1929... which means it's in the public domain, yay! I cut it up with some classic breaks from rock-n-roll songs that have been popularized in hip hop. Boom Bap, mother*ckers.
Lyrics by Edgar Leslie, tune by the amazing Mr Walter Donaldson, vocals by Dick Gardner, released by George Olsen - the original is here for comparison : www.youtube.com/watch?v=nq69ioCrX9U
The beat loops are sampled from "walk this way", "bonzo's montreux", take the money and run" and "you don't know how much i love you".
The video is Disney's Silly Symphony "The Skeleton Dance", also from 1929.
