SPOILERS, ETCETERA, for season five of Game of Thrones
Honestly if you’re not caught up on season five of Game of Thrones at this point, you should probably just turn off the internet until you’re done watching all of the episodes, because I can barely figure out not how to write a damn headline that doesn’t give everything away without just saying [REDACTED] was seen [REDACTED] in [REDACTED].
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, despite how much the Game of Thrones showrunners object and how its been hinted that he might come back as a warg, everything else is telling us that Jon Snow is still alive — from Kit Harington’s hairstyle to this location theory. And now fueling rumors, a reader of Watchers on the Wall spotted Harington on a flight from London to Belfast on Monday night. As in, the Belfast where Game of Thrones is currently filming.
This isn’t the first time Harington has been spotted in Belfast this year, as this is at least his third trip since pre-production started. Watchers on the Wall notes that, if he was just filming a funeral scene, there would probably be no need for this many visits. Harington has also allegedly been refusing photo ops with fans.

They included Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, and many more. But while there were rumors that Kit Harington had been spotted in the Game of Thrones home base in Northern Ireland, there was no proof yet. All that changed today when Watchers on the Wall, a site dedicated to all things Game of Thrones, posted photos of Harington arriving in the Belfast airport. The return of Jon Snow is turning into the worst-kept secret in TV history.
You can see another image of Harington’s arrival over on WoW that focuses on the actor’s on-trend man bun. Rest assured, these are taken in the Belfast airport—see this photo for comparison. And, despite the beard partially obstructing his face, that is Kit. He was seen with the same leather suitcase just a few days ago. We’re relieved to see him reunited with his Game of Thrones crew and we’re even more relieved to see his luscious, Stark-ish locks intact—even if they are tucked up into a man bun.
Does a Harington sighting in Belfast guarantee Jon Snow will return in any shape or form other than a stone-cold corpse? No, I suppose not. Charles Dance also spent some time filming in Belfast last year and all we got from Tywin in Season 5 were those crazy rock eyes.
But given all the other evidence mounting including casting news and exciting filming locations, well, the case for Jon Snow surviving the mutiny at the Wall grows stronger every day.

Nearly three years ago actor Tim Curry suffered a stroke that continues to affect his speech.
But despite the health woes, the 69-year-old was in good spirits as he was honored with The Actors Fund Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday at the Tony Awards Viewing Party in Los Angeles.
Speaking to Los Angeles magazine, he said that he has been 'doing well' and was 'looking forward' to receiving the honor.

'I’ve done a few benefits for the Actors Fund and I think it’s a marvelous organization. I hope not to have to use it,' the acclaimed character actor quipped.
The Actors Fund provides assistance with the cost and arrangements of funerals and burials.
And it is the Legend star's sense of humor that has helped helped him to remain optimistic since his July 2012 stroke when he collapsed at his Los Angeles home.

The reviews described his performance as ‘a mixture of Joan Crawford and Burt Lancaster’ and ‘Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Marc Bolan all in one.'

'It means that it just sort of solidifies the kind of work the American acting community has given me for years now,' he said of the honor.

When asked what life would be like for him if it reflected the theater, he said: 'Scary. Well the theater is scary. And the longer the time in between the periods in the theater, the scarier it gets.

Police, the JoongAng Daily reports, were quoted as saying that a rumor has been doing the rounds in South Korea – presumably among the elderly community – which purports that cat meat, if boiled in a soup, helps to relieve arthritis. They advised Koreans to avoid illegally obtained cat meat, the JoongAng Daily notes, as it is unregulated in South Korea, unlike other more common meats such as beef and pork.
Now, since I can picture the comments section for this story quickly becoming a roiling cauldron of outrage, let’s note that, this individual’s heinous crimes aside, each country has its own cultural taboos when it comes to the consumption of certain animals and one country’s adorable pet may be another country’s delicious stew ingredient. Hell, I would gladly eat (frankly quite delicious) horse meat every single day if I could, but that’s illegal in some countries. The JoongAng itself also reported as early as 2010 that cats, which were apparently once shunned by the Korean public, are becoming increasingly popular pets in Korea, so these Eastern medicine beliefs about cat meat are sure to fall by the wayside sooner or later if they haven’t already.
That said, animal cruelty should never be condoned and we hope the 18 live cats – apparently destined for the pot – police found in the man’s dwelling find a good and caring home.
